Prior to this, Bob served as the President of Digital Design Concepts LLC from 2015 to 2017, where they provided training, design, and consulting services in digital integrated circuits and technologies.
From 2009 to 2015, Bob worked as the Senior Technical Manager and Senior FPGA Hardware Engineer at VT iDirect. Bob was responsible for managing the FPGA engineers and also actively participated in the design, verification, and test of FPGAs for satellite hubs and remote terminals. During their time at VT iDirect, Bob accomplished several key projects, including the design of a TRANSEC encryption link and a PCI-32 interface.
Before joining VT iDirect, Bob worked at Cryptek as a Senior Design Engineer from 2002 to 2005. While there, they led the design of FPGA and ASIC designs for large-scale encryption engines. Prior to Cryptek, Bob served as a Senior Design Engineer at Acorn Networks from 2000 to 2001, where they supported the design and verification of a traffic management network coprocessor ASIC.
From 1997 to 2000, Bob worked as a Senior Engineering Specialist at ITT Technologies, primarily focusing on the hardware design of Satellite Communication Systems. Bob was involved in the design of high-performance programmable logic devices and digital circuit boards.
Bob's career started at Orbital Sciences Corporation in 1993, where they worked as a Senior Engineer. Their main projects included the design of a Solid State Video Recorder for reconnaissance and weapon systems.
Throughout their career, Bob has gained extensive experience in FPGA design, verification, and test, as well as managing teams and providing design consulting services.
