Marjan Esbati

Marjan Esbati's work experience begins in 2020 at Concordia University, where they served as a Research Assistant. In this role, they collected and analyzed data for assessing greenhouse gases, reviewed various assessment models, and developed a framework for analyzing GHG emissions from crop production. Marjan also held various positions at the university, including working as an Exam Invigilator, Course Marker, and Teaching Assistant.

In 2022, Marjan worked as an Administrative Assistant at ReMi Academy, where they scheduled client appointments, prepared and edited brochures, and assisted in organizing extra-curricular music activities.

In 2023, Marjan joined ZenithJet as a Sustainability Manager, and Azzera as the Head of Carbon Accounting. No end dates were provided for these roles.

Marjan Esbati completed a Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Civil Engineering at Concordia University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, from 2009 to 2012. Marjan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Tehran, which they completed from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Marjan Esbati has obtained several certifications. Marjan received the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard certification from The Greenhouse Gas Protocol in February 2023. In December 2022, they completed the "How Sustainability Is Changing the Financial Sector" course and received the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System certification from Udemy. Marjan also acquired the QGIS certification from Udemy in November 2022, and they attended the Construction Life Cycle Assessment EPD Bootcamp by One Click LCA in September 2022.
