Elmar Friesnegger

Elmar Friesnegger has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Elmar started their career at Infineon Technologies in 2002, where they served as a Planning & Industrial Engineer and later as a Senior Manager in Industrial Engineering and Planning. During this time, they focused on capacity planning, equipment purchasing, and lean manufacturing implementation.

In 2010, Friesnegger joined Semperit AG as the Global Head of Industrial Engineering, where they led the Industrial Engineering team and focused on productivity and cost-reduction projects across production sites worldwide. Elmar also held multiple leadership roles at Semperit AG, including Coordinating Director in India, Head of Technical & Operations in Belchatow, and Senior Director of Business Operations for Latexx Manuf. Sdn. Bhd.

In 2017, Friesnegger moved to OSRAM as the Director of Operational Excellence, where they were responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Most recently, Friesnegger joined the B. Braun Group in 2019. Elmar held the position of Vice President Operational Excellence before becoming the Vice President of Central Functions Plant Operations in October 2021.

Throughout their career, Friesnegger has successfully implemented efficiency gain programs, demonstrated leadership in capacity expansion projects, and achieved notable cost savings.

Elmar Friesnegger completed a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Technical University Graz in Austria from 1994 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended an engineering-focused high school in Austria specializing in mechanical and economics, where they received a Diploma (Engineer / Ing.) from 1988 to 1993.
