Martin Runkel

Martin Runkel has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Martin started their career in 1997 as a Software Developer and worked until 2001. In 2004, they joined B. Braun Gruppe as the Head of Project Management Office and later became the Head of Architecture & Development. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Head of Custom Solutions & Technology at B. Braun Gruppe. In 2016, they became the Managing Director of B. Braun IT Service GmbH and held this position until 2019. Additionally, they were the Managing Director of CoachIT GmbH from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Martin Runkel is the Vice President Business IT Solutions at B. Braun Gruppe, a position they have held since October 2017.

Martin Runkel attended the CIO Leadership Excellence Program at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma of Business Administration (University of Applied Sciences) from DIPLOMA Fachhochschule Nordhessen between 2004 and 2010. Furthermore, they studied Mathematics and Physics at the University of Kassel from 1993 to 1998.
