Michaela Maria Münnig has extensive work experience in the medical technology industry. Michaela Maria began their career at Zimmer (now Zimmer Biomet) in 1991, where they held various marketing positions both globally and locally until 2001. From 2001 to 2008, they served as the Managing Director of Marketing and Sales at ESKA Implants GmbH. In 2008, Münnig joined B. Braun Gruppe, starting in Central Key Account Management before progressing to roles such as Business Unit Director and Vice President of Global Marketing and R&D for Orthopaedic, Spine Surgery, and Joint Replacement. Additionally, they have been involved in various leadership roles within the industry, including serving as the spokesperson for the Endoprosthetics Implants department at BVMed and as a member of the WIK Forum. Overall, Münnig has a wealth of experience in marketing, sales, and leadership within the medical technology sector.
