B Lab France
Elizabeth Soubelet is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in education, social entrepreneurship, and community engagement. Since July 2019, Elizabeth serves as a Board Member for B Lab France, representing small businesses after being elected by the community of certified B Corps in France. Elizabeth is also the Co-Founder of Ma Bonne Etoile, a Société à Mission focused on promoting a waste-free future, launched to address single-use consumption challenges. Previous roles include English Professor at Notre-Dame International High School Paris, Co-Founder and first President of the Bursa International Women's Association in Turkey, and English Department Coordinator at TED Bursa Koleji. Educational qualifications encompass degrees in Education, Architectural History and Criticism from The University of Texas at Austin, and participation in reciprocal exchange programs at the University of Sydney and University of Tampere. Elizabeth's early experiences include working as an English Language Trainer and a Character at Walt Disney World.

B Lab France
Created in 2006 and present in more than 60 countries, the B Corp movement brings together a community of more than 3000 companies as well as experts and supporters from civil society. This movement seeks to transform the economy by demonstrating that it is possible for a company to make a positive contribution to society and the environment (one of B Corp's slogans is "using business as a force for good"). It also tries to demonstrate, through the achievements of the B Corp community, that it is possible to reconcile the profit motive (for profit) and the collective interest (for purpose). Almost 100 companies are currently certified B Corp in France. They come from the entire economic fabric (ESS, SCOP, TPE, PME, ETI, CAC 40 and French subsidiaries of foreign groups). This community, which has been present in France since 2015, is very active and expanding.
