Shalini Samuel

Shalini Samuel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility, and certification standards. Currently serving as the Head of Certification at the Responsible Investment Association Australasia since March 2023, Shalini enhances certification processes for financial products and advisers. As a member of the Regional Standards Advisory Group for B Lab since April 2019, Shalini contributes to the development of B Corp certification standards. Previous roles include Director of Certification and Standards Learning at B Lab Australia and New Zealand, where key accountability for certification targets was maintained, and Senior Specialist at Walk Free, focusing on modern slavery and human trafficking. Shalini holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from Monash University, an Advanced Diploma in Interpreting and Translating from RMIT University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from the University of Melbourne.
