Danielle Moné Truitt

Danielle Moné Truitt was destined to entertain. The actor, singer, and dancer hails from Sacramento, California where she studied Theatre and Dance at Sacramento State University and became a company member of The B Street Theatre before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television and film. Truitt came to national attention after being single-handedly selected by visionary producer John Singleton to star in the title role of his new crime drama Rebel for BET. She has also appeared in roles on ABC and FOX. Danielle continues to do theatre and has been nominated for NAACP Theatre Awards and Ovation Awards for her performances in The Mountaintop and Dreamgirls. She was also the Video Reference Actress who helped create Princess Tiana from Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. Truitt is repped by United Talent Agency and CMA Entertainment.
