Tibor Erdelyi

Tibor Erdelyi has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on software engineering and development.

Tibor is currently working on a project called MicroDB, a durable in-memory relational database library optimized for performance and productivity.

Prior to this, Tibor worked at Upland BA Insight as a Lead Software Engineer. In this role, they designed and implemented enterprise search related products and components used by Fortune 500 companies. Tibor was responsible for the development of critical parts of a high-performance, scalable, and fault-tolerant crawl engine, as well as enterprise search connectors and a customizable pipeline for document content and metadata processing.

Before joining Upland BA Insight, Tibor worked at ChemAxon as a SharePoint Architect, where they focused on SharePoint architecture and implementation.

Tibor also gained valuable experience during their time at Oracle as a Principal Software Engineer, working on the User Productivity Kit. Tibor was involved in writing technical designs and leading ad-hoc groups while working on larger features.

Tibor started their career as a Lecturer at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they shared their knowledge and expertise with students.

Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at Qualification Development Ltd, where they contributed to the development of a learning management system. This company was acquired by Oracle in 2008.

Tibor Erdelyi obtained an MSC degree in Computer Science from Budapest University of Technology and Economics between 1997 and 2002. Tibor also holds several additional certifications, including being a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer and a Microsoft Certified Professional, obtained in 2010 and 2005 respectively.
