Chris Troyanos, ATC, has extensive experience in sports medicine, serving as the Owner of Sports Medicine Consultants, Inc. since 1996 and as the Medical Coordinator for the Boston Athletic Association and the Boston Marathon since 1977. In addition, Chris held the role of Executive Director at the International Institute for Race Medicine Inc from January 2010 to December 2022 and served as the Associate Director of Corporate Relations at Children's Hospital Boston from October 2007 to June 2010. Prior to these positions, Chris was the Director of Sports Medicine at Babson College from 1979 to 2006. Educationally, Chris earned a BS in Sports Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Northeastern University between 1974 and 1979.

Boston Athletic Association
Established in 1887, the Boston Athletic Association is a non-profit organization with a mission of managing athletic events and promoting a healthy lifestyle through sports, especially running. While its signature event remains the Boston Marathon, the Boston Athletic Association manages a comprehensive, year-round schedule of events including the B.A.A. Half Marathon and the Boston Mayor's Cup.
