Nikki Shih, RGD

Nikki Shih has a diverse work experience in various design roles. Currently, they serve as a Product Design Lead at CIBC, where they lead two teams specializing in design systems, UX/UI, and AEM platform. Their responsibilities include directing project-level research and design strategy, facilitating design consultation, and ensuring effective collaboration. Prior to CIBC, Nikki worked as an Experience Designer at CIBC and a Lead Product Designer at Village Technologies, where they focused on brand development, UX/UI design, and enhancing user experience. Nikki also has experience as an Art Director & Designer at nikkishih.com, Senior Designer at Pilot PMR, Design Lead at Idea Couture Inc., Graphic Designer at Institute Without Boundaries, and Marketing/Graphic Designer at CS&P Architects Inc. Their expertise encompasses various areas such as brand strategy, web design, and digital product design.

Nikki Shih, RGD, has a diverse education history. In 2006, they obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Arts from Fu Jen Catholic University. Later on, they attended George Brown College and completed a Graduate Diploma in Interdisciplinary Design Strategy in 2012. Nikki furthered their education in 2016 by completing a web development course at BrainStation.

In terms of additional certifications, Nikki Shih received the Certified RGD designation from the RGD - Association of Registered Graphic Designers in December 2017.
