James Martel

James Martel is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Financial Controller at CSS Distribution Group since December 2020. Martel has held the position of Controller of International Projects at Vogt Power International since July 2011, overseeing financial management for the Bangkok, Thailand subsidiary and various construction projects, including the implementation of Costpoint Software. Previously, from 2003 to 2008, Martel functioned as Controller at Sysco, managing financial reporting, internal controls, and credit functions for the Louisville, KY operating company while engaging in cross-departmental initiatives. Academically, Martel holds an MBA from Sullivan University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Louisville.
