Richard Parmee

Richard Parmee is an experienced biodiversity and natural environment professional currently serving as the Biodiversity Project Manager at Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils since May 2022. Previously, Richard held several key positions at agb Environmental, including Director for Natural Environment, where Richard integrated ecology and arboriculture to enhance service delivery. Prior roles at Braintree District Council included Tree & Landscape Officer, and Project Officer for the River Colne Countryside Project, showcasing Richard's expertise in landscape management and community engagement. Richard also held the position of Landscape & Biodiversity Officer at Dedham Vale AONB & Stour Valley Project and ran a successful garden design business. Richard holds an MSc in Conservation Management Under Global Change and a BSc in Horticulture from Writtle University College.
