Daniel Rice

Daniel Rice is a Senior Principal Scientist at BAE Systems FAST Labs™ since 2018, focusing on advancing technologies. In addition to this role, Daniel serves as a Lecturer in Operations and Information Management at Babson College and holds the position of Program Chair for the Boston Chapter of INFORMS. Previous positions include Director of Graduate Programs at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Lecturer at the University of Massachusetts Boston, Senior Vice President and Director of Research & Development at Technology Solutions Experts, Inc., and Assistant Professor at Loyola University Maryland. Daniel's academic journey began as a Graduate Student, Research Assistant, and Lecturer at the University of Connecticut. Prior to academia, Daniel served as an Officer and Marine Engineer in the US Coast Guard. Daniel holds a PhD in Management Information Systems and an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut, along with a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the US Coast Guard Academy.
