Dessislava Pachamanova is a seasoned academic and consultant with extensive experience in optimization, simulation, data mining, statistics, operations, and financial modeling. Since joining Babson College in September 2002, Pachamanova has advanced through the ranks from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and currently serves as a Professor. As a consultant with Optimal Path since August 2004, Pachamanova provides expert advisement to various clients. Additionally, Pachamanova held a position as Visiting Professor at MIT Sloan School of Management from August 2018 to July 2019. Previous industry experience includes roles as an Associate at Goldman Sachs in Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities, and at WestLB in Credit Derivatives. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Operations Research from MIT Sloan School of Management and an A.B. in Mathematics and Public and International Affairs from Princeton University, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from United World College of the Adriatic.
