Shannon Mooney

Shannon Mooney is an established academic with extensive experience in English language and literature. Currently serving as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Babson College since May 2023, Shannon has also been an AP Literature Exam Reader for The College Board since June 2018. Previous roles include Visiting Lecturer at Mount Holyoke College from July 2022 to May 2023, Rhetoric Grader at OnRamps from August 2020 to May 2022, and various positions at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, including Assistant Director and Tutor at the Writing Center from August 2018 to May 2022. Shannon's early career involved similar roles at the University of Connecticut from August 2016 to May 2018. Shannon's academic qualifications include a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an MA from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland.
