William Lapoint

William LaPoint is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and consulting. Since March 2012, William has served as a Partner at ALY Holdings, where the focus is on investing and growing a select group of companies alongside management teams. Prior to this, William co-founded Halpern, Denny & Company, a private equity firm dedicated to lower middle market growth buyouts, and served as a Partner from 1991 to November 2016. William's career began at Procter & Gamble as an Operations Supervisor, followed by a consulting role at Bain & Company, where rapid promotion led to the position of Case Team Leader. William holds an MBA from Harvard Business School with a concentration in finance and marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, William has been a Senior Lecturer at Babson College since September 2008.
