Nina Spears

Nina Spears began their work experience in 2009 as an Insurance Agency Intern at Shepard Walton King. Nina then worked as a Membership Director at The Houston City Club and as a Sales & Events Coordinator at Mommy Boutique. In 2011, they founded and owned Bassett Baby Planning, providing birth doula care, postpartum doula care, and childbirth classes. At the International Maternity Institute, they worked as a Business Manager and later as a Webinar & Events Assistant Director. Since 2014, they have been the Co-Founder and Editor-In-Chief at Baby Chick, an online lifestyle brand for millennial moms.

Nina Spears attended Harlingen High School - South, although specific dates for their high school education were not provided. After completing high school, they enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Corporate Communication. Nina also obtained a Certificate in Business Foundations from the Texas McCombs School of Business in the same period. In 2010 and 2011, they attended the International Academy of Baby Planner Professionals, where they received a CBP in Baby Planning & GreenBirth Education. Later, from 2011 to 2012, they attended the Texas School of Massage and obtained a license as a Massage Therapist specializing in Prenatal and Postnatal Massage.
