Emily N. Hu

Emily N. Hu, M.D. has extensive experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, currently serving as an OB/GYN at Bay Area Obstetrics & Gynecology since 2004, delivering babies at California Pacific Medical Center and maintaining a surgical practice at CPMC and Seton Medical Center. In addition, Emily has held the position of Clinical Professor at UCSF Medical Center since 2017, mentoring medical students during their OBGYN rotations. Emily is a past president and current board member of the San Francisco Gynecological Society, promoting knowledge in the field since its establishment in 1929. As an Advisory Board Member for BabyCenter since 2018, Emily contributes to providing reliable pregnancy and parenting information. Emily also served as Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer of Evernow, a direct-to-women health company focused on menopause. Emily completed an OB/GYN residency at Stanford University and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, following a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Columbia University.
