Amylia Ryan

Amylia Ryan is an experienced editor and publishing professional with a diverse background in literary and editorial roles. Currently serving as an Associate Editor at Babylist since July 2019 and as Editor In Chief at Astral Waters Press since December 2018, Amylia also has a history of freelance book editing, providing developmental and copyediting feedback to authors. Previous positions include Project Manager for Outreach and Project Development at Ooligan Press, where Amylia focused on fundraising and conference planning, along with extensive experience in acquisitions and editing. Amylia holds an M.A. in Writing: Book Publishing from Portland State University, a Certificate in Business Administration from Bakersfield College, a B.A. in Literature from San Francisco State University, and an A.A. in English Language and Literature from Bakersfield College.
