Eric Mayo, CPA

Eric Mayo, CPA has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Eric started their career as an Audit Associate at Cherry Bekaert LLP in 2016, where they conducted financial statement preparation and performed substantive testing for engagements earning over $800 million. As a Senior Audit Associate, they oversaw a team of 8+ employees and managed engagements until May 2021.

In 2021, Eric joined Horizon Media as a Senior Risk Management and Compliance Associate. Eric successfully led various projects, including reviews of client authorization procedures, billing and invoice approval reviews, and process improvement reviews for clients earning over $2.5 billion. In November 2022, they were promoted to the role of Risk Management and Compliance Manager.

Since April 2023, Eric has been working as the Controller at Babylon Micro-Farms.

Eric Mayo, CPA holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Virginia Tech. Eric obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Virginia Board of Accountancy in December 2016.
