Amie Haakenson

Amie Haakenson's work experience includes serving as the Human Resources Director at BAC Transportation since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium from March 2010 to September 2021, where they held the position of Project Coordinator for the Community Health Aide Program. Amie also worked as a Consultant at YEP Hospitality & Consulting from January 2010 to January 2014. Before that, Amie was the Crowne Meetings Director at Crowne Plaza Anchorage - Midtown for six months in 2009. Additionally, they owned and was the Lead Director at yourEVENTplanner from 1992 to 2009, where they organized various events, including weddings, corporate social events, and special occasions. Lastly, Amie served as the Office Manager and Co-Owner of LIPSPhoto - Lasting Impressions Photo from 1994 to 2006.

Amie Haakenson attended West Valley High School from 1985 to 1989 and obtained a diploma with a focus on General Studies. Amie then went on to complete a Certified Travel Specialist program at The Travel Academy from 1990 to 1991, specializing in Tourism and Travel Services. Amie also enrolled at Alaska Junior College in 1991 to 1992, studying Business.
