Louise Higgins has a comprehensive work experience spanning several positions and companies. Louise started their career in 1995 as an Investment Analyst/Stockbroker at Latin American Research Company (LARCO). In 1997, they joined Diageo as a Customer Account Manager (Global Supply) and later took on various roles such as Assistant Brand Manager, Brand Manager, and Global Marketing Manager.

At Diageo, Louise held high-ranking positions including Regional Marketing Director for Global Travel Americas and Global Marketing Director for Portfolio Scotch. Louise also served as the Vice President of Innovation for WestLac and later as the Vice President of Marketing & Innovation for CCA.

In 2019, Louise joined Bacardi as the Vice President of Consumer Marketing Europe and subsequently became the Vice President of Consumer and Customer Marketing for Europe, Australia, and New Zealand in October 2020.

Louise Higgins has a diverse education history. Louise attended Harvard Business School from 2021 to 2022 and completed the Executive Education program for the Emilio Bacardi Harvard Business School Leadership Program. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Marketing with Languages from Edinburgh Napier University from 1993 to 1994. Louise earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Honors in French & Hispanic Studies with Portuguese from the University of Glasgow, where they studied from 1987 to 1992.
