Backstage
KC Zafarnia has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as the co-creator, producer, and host of the podcast "hurryupandwait: the podcast for actors who are in it for the long haul." They were involved in the production of over 60 episodes released on various platforms.
In 2014, KC worked as an Assistant to the Director of Education and Events at Backstage, where they also served as a weekly freelance contributor. Their responsibilities included pitching and curating online posts, conducting interviews with well-known actors, and performing research.
From 2015, KC worked as a Reservations Agent at The Standard, High Line, before joining Noodle Pros in 2018 as a Content Lead. At Noodle Pros, they took on the role of overseeing content creation.
In the same year, KC also freelanced for Noodle.com as a Copywriter and Editor.
Currently, KC is employed at the NYC Department of Education as an ELA Teacher for high school students. They began their teaching career in 2019 and have also held the position of a Teacher and Teaching Professional.
KC Zafarnia obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Acting, with a minor in Creative Writing, from Carnegie Mellon University from 2005 to 2009. Following that, from 2017 to 2019, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Education from New York University.
