Edith Huettner-Wilkinson

Edith Huettner-Wilkinson has extensive experience in the field of development and quality in the bakery industry. Edith is currently serving as the Deputy Head of Development & Quality at backaldrin The Kornspitz Company GmbH. Prior to this, they held the position of Product Development Team Lead at the same company. Before joining backaldrin, Edith worked as a Business Development Manager at Zeelandia GmbH & Co. KG. Edith also has a strong background in research and development, having served as an R&D Manager at Puratos. In this role, they led the R&D team in Germany and the regional support team for Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russia. Edith was also responsible for developing new products and concepts for bakery applications, conducting research on novel ingredients, and providing training and support to local teams. Edith started their career as a Post Doctoral Researcher at University College Cork.
