Waleed Kazmi

Waleed Kazmi has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Waleed began their career at Deloitte as a Senior Associate in 2009 and later joined EY as a Finance professional in 2011. In 2013, Waleed transitioned to Dynavax Technologies, where they worked in Finance until 2017. Waleed then joined Visa as a Director of Finance and held the position until 2020. Currently, Waleed is employed at Backblaze, where they started as the Corporate Controller in August 2020 and was promoted to VP, Corporate Controller in September 2022.

Waleed Kazmi holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same institution. Waleed also completed a Graduate Certificate Program at Stanford University. Additionally, they are a Level 3 Candidate for the CFA designation, certified by the CFA Institute.
