THE FUNDING TRANSFORMATION
The nonprofit, Backbone Funder is establishing its proprietary funding ecosystem designed to fund innovators—residents, small businesses, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and communities. Funding from accredited investors and donors brings the power of impact funding to the heart of neighborhoods. By democratizing funding, our mission is to invigorate creativity and innovation by energizing the bottom 60% of local economies. Upon launch, our peer-to-peer SEC registered securities exchange provide impact investors with liquidity. By addressing this large underfunded market, our passion is to harness the power of impact investing to benefit innovators, investors, and communities.
