Asaf Corem

Asaf Corem is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in machine learning and software engineering. As VP of R&D at Backed Finance AG since January 2022, Asaf has previously held roles at notable companies such as Nike as a Machine Learning Engineer, and Istra Research Ltd. as a Software Engineer. Proficient in various programming languages and tools, including Python, C++, Java, and several machine learning libraries, Asaf has also worked in leadership roles such as CEO at Matara Online Ltd. and served as both a software engineer and Scrum Master at AGT International. Asaf holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and has a background in the Israel Defense Forces Special Forces.
