Rosanna Yau (she/her) has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Gallery Assistant at the Richard L. Nelson Gallery & Fine Arts Collection in 2005. In 2006, they began working as a Web Designer at the Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley. Rosanna then moved on to become a Graphic Designer at the City of Davis in the same year. In 2008, Rosanna became the Founder of MiniLivestock, promoting the practice of entomophagy. In 2010, they began working as a Graphic Designer at the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, a Teaching Faculty at California College of the Arts, and a Designer at The Bold Italic. In 2012, Rosanna became Co-Founder of BackerKit and a Designer at Diaspora. Finally, in the same year, they began their role as an Exhibition Designer at the UCD Bohart Museum of Entomology.
Rosanna Yau attended Y Combinator in 2013, followed by California College of the Arts from 2008 to 2010, where they received their MFA in Interaction Design. Rosanna also holds a BS in Communication Design from the University of California, Davis.
