Sonja Gerard

Sonja Gerard is a Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in the healthcare industry, currently serving at BackFit Health + Spine since November 2014. Previously, Sonja worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at AFC Physical Medicine & Chiropractic Centers from November 2011 to April 2014, where responsibilities included assessing muscle and joint pain and developing treatment plans. Prior to that, Sonja gained experience as a Registered Nurse in Telemetry at Scottsdale Healthcare from June 2007 to October 2011, performing various nursing assessments and interventions. Early in the nursing career, Sonja served as a Nurse Extern, providing basic patient care and performing routine treatment procedures. Sonja holds a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Arizona State University, complemented by an Associate of Arts in Administrative Assistant and Secretarial Science from Faith Baptist Bible College.
