Emma Holmes

Emma Holmes is currently the International Head of Finance at Backlight, a position held since May 2022. Prior to this role, Emma served in various finance leadership positions at Secret Escapes from August 2016 to May 2022, including Director of Accounting and Control, Senior Commercial Finance Manager, Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, and Finance Manager. Emma began the professional career as a Financial Accountant at Mark Warner from April 2015 to August 2016 and previously worked as an Audit Senior at BDO LLP from September 2011 to April 2015, specializing in the Consumer Markets sector. A secondment to BDO in Australia in 2014 provided Emma with diverse client exposure. Emma holds an ACA qualification from ICAEW and a degree in History from the University of Oxford, along with five A Levels from The Perse School for Girls.
