Jenny Ryan

Jenny Ryan's work experience includes positions at multiple companies in various roles. Jenny currently holds the position of Chief Clinical Officer at Backpack Healthcare since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Clinical Director at the same company from July 2022 to July 2023. From March 2021 to July 2022, they served as the Lead Clinical Therapist at Backpack Healthcare. Before joining Backpack Healthcare, Jenny worked at Community Support Services, Inc. as the Director of Clinical Services from January 2022 to July 2022 and as the Assistant Clinical Director of Children's Services from May 2016 to January 2022. Jenny also has experience as a Shelter and Permanent Supportive Housing Intensive Case Manager at Northern Virginia Family Service from September 2015 to May 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Direct Service Provider at Autism Continuum Therapies from May 2015 to May 2016, and as a Social Worker at VCUHS Childcare at Northside from August 2014 to May 2015. Jenny Ryan holds a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree in Clinical Social Work from George Mason University, which they earned from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Social Work degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, completing their studies from 2012 to 2015. Jenny's high school education was completed at Loudoun Valley High School, where they achieved an Advanced Diploma from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical, obtained from the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners in 2019, and is also a Registered Behavior Technician.
