Engineering Manager at Backyard Brains

Miroslav Nestorovic has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and operations sectors. Miroslav is currently the Engineering Manager at Backyard Brains and the Founder of Ars Inventa. From 2016 to 2020, they were the Operations Director at Stan Technologies d.o.o., where they organized daily business activities, managed resources, developed and implemented an operational plan, and ensured that procedures were carried out properly. Miroslav also contributed to the development of corporate strategy and lead strategy development in areas of engineering, purchasing, and production. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Project and Plant Manager at JAGO AG (C.T.P. d.o.o. and Ogranak JakoCat GmbH). From 2014 to 2015, they were the Project Manager at Advertout and the Head of Quality Assurance and Interim Manager Operations and Engineering at ATB Sever. From 2011 to 2014, they were the R&D and Production Director at Boci CO - Sharps Terminator, where they planned, organized, and directed day-to-day operations and developed new medical products. From 2010 to 2011, they were the General Manager at Razzmatazz - Bubbles. From 2003 to 2005, they were the Senior FEA (Finite Element Analysis) Engineer at Behr America. Additionally, from 2005 to 2020, they were an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan.

Miroslav Nestorovic's education history includes a Dipl. Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, which they obtained between 1989 and 1995. Miroslav then went on to pursue a M.S. in Aerospace Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Michigan, which they obtained between 1996 and 1999. Finally, they obtained a Ph.D. in Aerospace Science from the University of Michigan in 2001.
