Amy Penny

Amy Penny is a skilled professional with extensive experience in project management and product development across various industries. As the General Manager at Backyard Discovery since April 2025, Amy oversees operations and strategic direction. Previously, at Huhtamaki from September 2016 to April 2025, Amy held several leadership roles, including Head of Paperboard Sourcing & Projects, Head of Retail Sales, and Senior Product Manager for the Foodservice division. In addition, Amy worked as a Project Management Office Consultant at kcweb.co and has a strong background in supply chain and customer service from earlier roles at Huhtamaki, FedEx, B/E Aerospace, and Grainger. Amy holds an MBA from Baker University and a BA in Mass Media with an emphasis on Public Relations from Washburn University.
