Kevin Smith is the current Customer Experience Specialist at BACS Consulting Group, Inc. Kevin has over 20 years of experience in IT and finance, having worked as an IT Consultant and Director at Netsmith Limited from February 2000 to November 2014, and as a Finance Systems Developer at BT Cellnet from January 1990 to December 1998.
At Netsmith Limited, Kevin was responsible for reviewing all current processes within the finance department of 120 staff and providing fast, easy-to-use and intuitive automated solutions for the departments reporting requirements. Kevin also developed and implemented a company-wide budgeting model for the Financial Planning Department, using MS Access. The Budget Model submitted budgeting data directly into the CFACS finance system, allowing accurate reporting actuals against budgets, as well as yearly budgets for submission to BT for approval. Additionally, Kevin implemented BusinessObjects Universe for the company's CFACS finance system and produced HTML formatted reports that were published on a dedicated intranet.
