Kyle Tierney has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kyle started their career as an Architectural Assistant Intern at Vinci LLC in 2006, where they assisted in preparing project presentations for clients and gained skills in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft products. In 2007, they transitioned to the role of a Hockey Instructor at Northern Edge Elite Hockey School, where they taught hockey skills until 2014. During this time, they also worked as a Head Coach at Chesterfield Hockey Association from 2014 to 2015.
In 2012, Kyle worked as an Architect Assistant at Base Ten Architects for a brief period, gaining experience in the architectural field. Kyle then joined Eddie Bauer in 2015 as a Sales Manager before moving on to Yuro Sk8 in 2016. At Yuro Sk8, they initially served as a Graphic Designer and Hockey Instructor until 2018. In 2018, they joined Thinkquanaut as a 3D Modeler and Designer, where they worked until 2019.
Most recently, Kyle has been associated with Bad Rhino Studios since 2019. Kyle first started as an Environmental Artist, responsible for creating art assets for video games. Kyle then progressed to the position of Lead Environment Artist in January 2022.
Kyle Tierney's education history begins in 2004 when they attended Miami University. Kyle obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Architecture from there in 2008. Kyle then pursued further education at the University of Kentucky from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Architecture degree. Most recently, in 2017-2018, Kyle attended the Game Art Institute, where they completed a Game Design: Environmental Artist Bootcamp, focusing on becoming an Environment Artist.
