Erika Siregar

Erika Siregar is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in statistical analysis and education. Currently serving at Badan Pusat Statistik since January 2013, Erika also co-founded R-Ladies Jakarta in July 2019 and leads the program at Jakarta Machine Learning since January 2020. Previous roles include lecturing in web programming and applied statistics at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Statistik BPS and Politeknik Keuangan Negara STAN, respectively. Erika has contributed as a Shiny Dashboard Consultant for Giz Indonesia and mentored for the Digital Talent Scholarship. In 2018, Erika participated as UNLEASH Talent at a global innovation lab focused on the Sustainable Development Goals. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Information Science from The University of Sheffield, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Old Dominion University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computation of Statistics from Politeknik Statistika STIS.
