Daniel Steer is an Engineering Team Lead with extensive experience in control systems engineering and software development. They have spent four years at Tesla, where they led the development of a factory application to optimize car body painting processes across multiple factories globally. Prior to Tesla, Daniel worked as a Senior Instrument and Control Systems Engineer at Santos, managing a $US1.2 billion gas transmission pipeline project, and held senior roles at Sage Automation and Hatch. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems from Flinders University of Adelaide and currently leads engineering efforts at BAE Systems Australia.
