Amanda Horner

Amanda Horner is a seasoned professional in emergency management and public safety, currently serving as a Business Continuity and Emergency Management Planner at BAE Systems, Inc. since September 2022. Amanda previously worked as a Regional Emergency Preparedness and Response Coordinator for the Delta Colorado Department of Health, overseeing emergency planning for six public health agencies during the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior experience includes serving as an Emergency Preparations Specialist with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, managing Indiana's Local Emergency Planning Committee Program, and various roles at Bed Bath & Beyond, where Amanda held positions such as Department Supervisor and Customer Service Trainer. Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Public Safety, a Graduate Certificate in Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice, all earned from Indiana University Indianapolis.
