Kara Hennigan

Kara Hennigan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT governance, compliance, and program management. Currently serving as Senior Director, IT Governance & Compliance and Director of CMMC Program Delivery at BAE Systems, Inc. since January 2023, Hennigan has previously held various leadership roles within the same organization, including Director of Automation Center of Excellence and Chief of Staff for the OCIO. Hennigan also worked at Meta as an Operations Program Manager and gained early project management experience at The Track Group and as an International Projects Coordinator at the University of Sydney. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in International Politics from Penn State University, a Master's in International Relations from UNSW, and completion of an Executive Leadership Program at INSEAD, focusing on financial acumen and strategic leadership skills.
