Lya Batlle-Rafferty

Lya Batlle-Rafferty is a seasoned technology development manager and data scientist with extensive experience in various organizations. Since January 2020, Lya has served as Technology Development Manager II, President of the HOLA ERG, and Site Executive at BAE Systems, Inc., where notable accomplishments include successfully navigating organizational transitions and authoring sections of the ES Tech Strategy document. Previous roles include leading research on biophysical stress markers at Bose Health and serving as a project lead at Bose Corporation, focusing on behavior analysis and innovative data techniques. Lya founded Apps N'At, developing an app for Planned Parenthood, and co-owned Verde Beans, which imported coffee beans. Additional expertise encompasses UX design at Intellect Design Arena and co-leading a joint forces study while at General Dynamics C4 Systems. Educational credentials include a BS in Cognitive Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MA in Adult Education and Training from the University of Phoenix.
