Nicole Duncan

Nicole Duncan is a seasoned professional in the field of space sciences, currently serving as Chief Strategist for Civil Space at BAE Systems, Inc. since September 2017. In this role, Nicole leads strategic planning and implementation within the business unit, overseeing significant projects throughout the program lifecycle. With a strong focus on Heliophysics, Space Weather, Planetary Science, and Astrophysics, Nicole has successfully managed new business activities and advanced technology portfolios. Previous experience includes roles such as Systems Engineering & Civil New Business at UC Berkeley and various research and assistant positions in leading academic institutions. Nicole holds a PhD in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
