Scott Nowlin has extensive experience in aerospace engineering and leadership within both military and civilian sectors. Currently serving as the VP for Aerospace Education at the Air Force Association Chapter 235 since January 2017, Scott supports STEM outreach initiatives and annual Teacher of the Year awards. At BAE Systems, Inc., Scott has held multiple roles since December 2016, including Strategic Systems Chief Engineer and Systems Engineering Manager. Previous positions in the U.S. Air Force include Colonel at AFSC/EN OL-Hill, where Scott oversaw engineering and technical management, and Lt Col at USAFA/DFAN, focusing on systems engineering and aeronautics. Scott's engineering expertise was enhanced through a DPhil in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, complemented by a Master's in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's in Aeronautics from the United States Air Force Academy.
