Claire Ruddiman, Ph.D.

Claire Ruddiman, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various scientific and research roles. Claire is currently employed as a Scientist II in Assay Development at Baebies since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Doctoral Scientist at the University of Virginia from July 2017 to August 2022. Claire also worked as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Düsseldorf from September 2019 to December 2019. Claire gained experience as a Tutor and Supervisor at North Carolina State University from August 2014 to May 2017. Claire has also held internships in Chemical Engineering at Ecolab in June 2015 and Grifols in May 2014. Additionally, they were an Apprentice Toxicology Research Scientist at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from June 2011 to August 2011.

Claire obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from North Carolina State University in 2017. In 2017, Claire enrolled at the University of Virginia to pursue a Ph.D. in Pharmacology, which they successfully completed in 2022. Prior to their Ph.D., they also obtained a Master of Science degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Virginia between 2017 and 2019.
