Scott Pearson

Scott Pearson is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in developmental editing, copyediting, and writing, particularly in the science fiction genre, including a significant focus on Star Trek novels. Since joining Simon & Schuster in 2004, Pearson has developed and edited Star Trek titles, collaborating with authors through various stages of the publishing process. In addition to work at IDW Publishing and Baen Publishing Enterprises, Pearson has offered freelance editorial services since 2001, assisting a diverse range of nonfiction and genre fiction projects. Pearson's editorial expertise is complemented by a background in bookselling and an academic foundation in English and Philosophy from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
