Satish Solanki has had a varied career in engineering and education. Satish began their career in 2012 as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Bangalore Metro Railway Corporation Ltd. In 2013, they took on the role of Lecturer at Vyas Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jodhpur. Satish then moved to MNR Talent and Skill Development Institute in 2016 as a Physics Lecturer. In 2014, they began working as a Physics Lecturer at BANSAL CLASSES. In 2018, Satish joined Oregon State University as a Deep Learning - Graduate Research Assistant. In this role, they increased the speed of the printhead design process by building a sophisticated MLP-CNN model to replace the physics-based CFD simulator. Satish also implemented a search interface to search printer design using K-NN algorithm, resulting in a 99.9% reduction in time and a 10x reduction in mean percentage error compared to physics-based models. Satish also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Finite Element Analysis - Graduate Research Assistant. Most recently, Satish joined Baffle, Inc. in 2021 as a Data Science Engineer.
Satish Solanki's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna (2009-2013), a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from Oregon State University (2018-2021), and a Certificate Program in Project Management from UC Berkeley Extension (2022). Satish has also obtained several certifications, including Introduction to Docker: The Basics (Coursera, 2021), TensorFlow Serving with Docker for Model Deployment (Coursera, 2021), AWS Cloud Technical Essentials (Amazon Web Services, 2021), Getting Started with SAS Programming (Coursera/SAS, 2020), Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow (deeplearning.ai, 2020), Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow (deeplearning.ai/Coursera, 2020), Databases and SQL for Data Science (Coursera/IBM, 2020), Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization (deeplearning.ai, 2020), Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning (deeplearning.ai, 2020), and Structuring Machine Learning Projects (deeplearning.ai, 2020).
