Peter Alfred

Peter Alfred has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology industry. Peter is currently serving as the VP of Data Engineering at BagsID™, where they lead and manages the data engineering team, develops data engineering strategies, and designs scalable data pipelines for machine learning models. Previously, Peter worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Vlytix and as a Senior Software Engineer at GlobalOrange | Digital Platforms & SaaS, where they implemented automation for cloud deployment and provided scalable SaaS solutions for clients. Peter also worked as a Data Engineer at FocusCura and as a Senior Software Engineer at Mock-up Studio UG. Peter's earlier experience includes roles at Orange Business Services, where they worked as a Software Engineer and later as a Critical Application Support Level 2, handling application issues, maintaining data integrity, and developing web apps and automation tools. Peter began their career as an Intern at PhPC and later at Orange Business Services, where they gained experience in IT support and web server management.

Peter Alfred completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University in the period from 2013 to 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Data Science at the same university from 2018 to 2022, but they dropped out before defending their thesis. In addition to their formal education, Peter has obtained several certifications. These include the "Global Community Development Porgram" from AIESEC in August 2016, the "B1" certification from Goethe-Institut e.V. in May 2016, the "A2" certification from Goethe-Institut e.V. in February 2016, and the "Trainee PHPC" certification from PhPC in September 2015. Peter also completed an "IT Trainee OBS" program at Orange Business Services in August 2015. Lastly, Peter obtained certifications in "Advanced English and Business English" from the British Council in August 2014.
