Farrukh Amin

Farrukh Amin has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Farrukh is currently working as a Data & Analytics Team Lead at Bahrain Petroleum Company since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Wipro Limited as a Program Director for the RTA Big Data Program from November 2020 to September 2021.

Farrukh also served as a Practice Manager for Big Data and Digital Solutions at Rolta ME FZ LLC from January 2014 to November 2020. Before that, they worked at Siemens as a Delivery Head for the MENA region from February 2012 to December 2013. Farrukh also held the role of Solution Architect and Consultant at Siemens from October 2009 to January 2012.

Earlier in their career, Farrukh worked as a Project Manager at TenPearls from November 2008 to October 2009, where they successfully delivered projects and won a bonus prize for the best team. Farrukh also worked as a Project Manager at Ecomonix, Inc from August 2006 to November 2008, where they worked on secure applications and designed a database migration tool.

Farrukh's work experience also includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Alt-Source Communication (Pvt) Ltd from December 2004 to July 2006. In this role, they developed software applications and worked on projects for clients like McDonald's and Abbot.

Farrukh Amin completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS) and Finance from Iqra University (Official) between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Bahria University from 2002 to 2005. Farrukh also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Maths and Computers from PMA, which was earned from 1996 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Farrukh Amin recently obtained a certification as a Power BI Data Analyst Associate from Microsoft in 2022.
