Roman Mitz

Roman Mitz has extensive experience in technology and systems management, serving as the Senior Director of Data & Digital Enablement Technologies at Carnegie Mellon University since August 1998. Roman's leadership encompasses core Linux and Windows Systems teams, overseeing both infrastructure and software development projects, with direct reports numbering 21 personnel. Previous roles include Interim IT Director for the Carnegie Mellon Qatar campus, Senior Manager of Systems Development, and Senior Research Systems Programmer, highlighting a strong background in project management, technical support, and infrastructure design. Roman also contributed to The Hill School as Assistant Director of Technology. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Roman holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
