Missam Al-Hashimi

Missam Al-Hashimi has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Missam started their career in 2005 at the Ministry of Education of Bahrain as a Design and Technology Curriculum specialist, where they took part in implementing the curriculum in intermediate schools and conducted training programs for teachers. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at Abu Dhabi Investment House as an Officer in the Corporate Communication Department, where they handled internal and external communications and organized marketing campaigns and events. In 2011, they joined Batelco as a PR Specialist, responsible for analyzing and recommending donations and sponsorships, as well as managing internal and external functions for sponsored events. Missam then transitioned to the role of Policies & Remuneration Manager at Batelco, where they reviewed pay policies, conducted salary benchmarking surveys, and handled job analysis. Currently, Missam holds a position at the Bahrain Petroleum Company, where they have worked as a Leader HR Projects, a Human Resources Business Partner, and currently serves as the Head Leadership & Talent Management.

Missam Al-Hashimi holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from DePaul University, which was obtained between 2018 and 2019. Additionally, Missam has a Certificate and Diploma in Leadership (ILM Certificate) - Level 3 from the Institute Of Leadership & Management, earned in 2013. Moreover, Missam has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Strathclyde, completed between the years 2010 and 2012. Lastly, Missam obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Design & Technology from the University of Sunderland in 2005. Missam also possesses a SHRM-CP certification from SHRM, acquired in October 2015.
